DELIVERANCE FROM ABUSE 2

abused deliveranceABUSED FAMOUS PEOPLE

  • Marilyn Monroe, who died at the age 36, was passed around the foster care system as a child, and she suffered sexual abuse from the men in her life. Monroe was one of the first public figures to discuss her experience with abuse in public.
  • Singer Billie Holiday was raped by a neighbor when she was only 12 years old at the time and she too died at an early age of 44.
  • Talk show host Oprah Winfrey was raped by a relative when she was just nine years old. Winfrey has been vocal about her experience.
  • Rita Hayworth was repeatedly raped by her father, who tutored and trained her as a dancer, when she was young.
  • Jane Fonda had revealed that she has been the victim of sexual abuse, beginning when she was a child.
  • Jane Fonda’s mother had been sexually abused at age eight and consequently killed herself at the age of 42.
  • Mike Tyson had revealed his abuse that he suffered as a young child.

ABUSE

DEFINITION:– to maltreat; to misuse, to use with bad motives; to violate; to defile; to deceive, to impose on; to cause fear; to treat harshly; to use insulting language. Emotional abuse is usually the use of our words to undermine and attack a person or their worth or identity causing fear.

It was estimated that 460,000 Canadian women were victims of sexual assault in 2004.  Only 8% went to the police to report the crime. One out of every six American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime (14.8% completed, 2.8% attempted)

ABUSE DELIVERANCE

THE ABUSED

abused deliverance

Sexual abuse is the ultimate violation of the person. Considering all five- mental, emotional, physical, verbal and sexual abuse-sexual abuse causes more demonization than all the others combined. The sexual part of you is ultimately who you are as a person. When you are violated sexually, you are victimized; you are horrified; you are traumatized.

This so violates the natural laws of the universe that one can’t deal with it. This violation is so severe that the only emotional refuge is rage. The anger just comes out!   What is tragic is if an abused youth is affected, it will when it becomes an adult tend to do the same thing to its children.

DELIVERANCE FROM SUICIDAL THOUGHTS ASSURED 2

   DELIVERANCE FROM SPIRIT OF  SUICIDE

Many people who struggle with suicidal thoughts feel like they are alone. You would be surprised by how much the Bible talks about suicide. Even though these stories from the Bible are of people overwhelmed by fear, guilt, heartache, illness, pride, disillusionment and hopelessness. There is such a thing as deliverance from the spirit of suicide.

Recognize warning signs. The American Association of Suicidology says that people who are at risk of committing suicide often display warning signs such as: communicating a desire to kill themselves, looking for ways to kill themselves (like seeking access to guns or medications), expressing a lack of purpose or hope in life, demonstrating dramatic mood changes, behaving in significantly anxious or angry ways, sleeping too much or not sleeping enough, taking reckless risks, abusing alcohol or drugs, and withdrawing from relationships with family and friends.

Listen well and offer unconditional love, like God does. Pay attention to the troubling thoughts and feelings that people share with you Ask God to help you love suicidal people unconditionally – like He does – and that will give them hope they desperately need while struggling with embarrassment and shame.

Give people a fresh perspective on themselves and their problems. Suicidal people often become so preoccupied with their own failures and the problems in their lives that they blow them out of proportion. They mistakenly thinking that there’s no hope for them; you must point out other aspects of her life that are positive to help her gain a better perspective. Encourage suicidal people to give themselves time to see how their problems can resolve in unexpected ways.

Point to Prayer. People who kill themselves are trying to break free from their pain. It actually causes more pain by spreading grief around to deceased people’s loved ones. Prayer is needed to lay their troubles for Jesus to handle, trusting that He will help them with any situation – no matter how difficult.

Deliverance Suicide Prayer

God will never waste the pain we struggle through in this life, but He will turn it around for good somehow and use it to strengthen us and to help others.

If you or a loved one is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please get help. Do not face this on your own. There is hope and healing, and there are many who will journey through this trial with you. Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) at any time day or night 24/7, to talk to someone who understands. Or go online at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org for more information and help.

The Catholic Catechism says that everyone is responsible for his life before God who has given it to him. We are stewards, not owners, of the life God has entrusted to us. It is not ours to dispose of.

WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?

Becoming Christian

Deliverance is defined as “a rescue from bondage or danger.” Deliverance is often sought from evil spirits or the spirit of lust, jealousy, etc. We are told to “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.”                                                                                                                                                  1 Peter 5:8,9

All aspects of deliverance are available only through the person and work of Jesus Christ:” When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, ‘Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!’”                                                                              Luke 10:17

 DO YOU NEED DELIVERANCE?

To determine if you are in need of deliverance, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Are you continually argumentative or contrary–usually on the verge of anger?
  2.  Are you violating, neglecting or causing pain in a relationship?
  3.  Are you practicing sin and can’t seem to stop?
  4. Do you see a pattern of issues in your family, whether disease, poverty, anger, divorce, sexual perversion or other issues?
  5. You are sick all the time and the doctors find nothing wrong. You could be dealing with a spirit of infirmity?
  6. Are you having “spiritual” encounters, including recurring dreams/nightmares that you leave you fearful?
  7. Do you sometimes sense that the problem isn’t you, but rather something in you?
  8. Are you attracted to the occult. , e.g. Ouija Boards, Seance, Fortune Telling, Horoscopes, Hypnosis etc, or Witchcraft?
  9. Have you experienced traumatic events that have impacted your life negatively?
  10.  Do you keep hitting the same wall?

SPIRITUALITY MEANING 2

IN SEARCH OF THE GOODSpirituality mean

Even when we worship different gods, attend different schools, have different skin colors, we’re all supposed to share spirituality.

But you have a compute and Wikipedia: “Spirituality can refer to an ultimate or immaterial reality; an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of their being; or the ‘deepest values and meanings by which people live.’”

Yes, that’s Wikipedia! It continues on to say, “Spirituality is often experienced as a source of inspiration or orientation in life. It can encompass belief in immaterial realities or experiences of the immanent or transcendent nature of the world.”

Hmm! That’s extremely broad. Maybe you should read a book on the subject.

Princeton religion scholar Leigh Schmidt wrote one called Restless Souls that charts the development of American spirituality. Rather than the “New Age” phenomenon it is sometimes misinterpreted as, spirituality is an egalitarian, pluralistic realm of experience and thought has  a unique and sometimes intellectually advanced role in American history. So, basically, Schmidt can’t (or won’t) really define spirituality, either.

We instinctively know that it’s mixed up in religion, but it’s definitely distinct from institutional religion. Can someone be religious without being spiritual? It’s completely plausible. Continue reading SPIRITUALITY MEANING 2

THE SOCIOPATH: HEALING ASSURED 2

 Antisocial personality disorder: (ASPD)

WHO ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?

It is the guy who makes you feel like you are the only person he ever needed or the woman who flaunts her looks to attract men into her web, that undying desire you fall victim too. The victim is left, a shadow of a person, unable to hear God or trust themselves.

THE PROBLEM

The problem is this personality disorder is rarely seen as spiritual. Once this condition is entered into the medical books and is given a name; it becomes the property of the secular world of medicine. Doctors or psychiatrists have no idea of how to treat such a malady other than to prescribe  medicine to slow everything down.

The case of the post traumatic stress disorder shares  the same problem. Twelve hundred troubled Canadian troops returned home from Afghanistan  and most servicing psychiatrist admit to poor success from all the trauma of killing. The Canadian government has set aside $500 million to solve the problem, which appears to be unsolvable. Enter the Spiritual Solution!

VOODOOISM SPIRITUALITY 2

VOODOOISM

voodooism spiritual beings loa

Vodou or VOODOOISM SPIRITUALITY is primarily practiced in Haiti, New Orleans, and other locations within the Caribbean. There is great variation within Voodoo beliefs and practices. Many Vodou practitioners also consider themselves Catholics. Voodooism Spirituality involves spiritual beings.

As well as being the priest or priestess, the houngan acts as confessor, confidential and financial advisor, prophet and healer for the people in the community. But the houngan is more a folk healer with a considerable knowledge of herbal remedies who treats minor illnesses. While selling love potions and protective charms, including small bags to be worn for protection or for good luck, may be a lucrative side business for a priest or priestess, the primary occupation is still as a spiritual leader of his community. Voodooists especially places value on the strength of community for support.

Loa or Spiritual Beings

The spirits of death, The Guédé are really an enormous group of the loa who are the spirits of formerly living people. He is the one who controls the passage between life and death. In ritual, he is often offered black goats or chickens. The most frequently performed ritual in Voodoo is one that invokes a particular loa (supernatural beings) to offer food to him and seek his presence on earth. HEALING CANCER ASSURED 2

Do you believe God can HEAL cancer?

CANCER HEALED

Almost one in every two Canadians is expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and one in four Canadians will die from the disease, a new report by the Canadian Cancer Society predicts.. Currently, every year we’re seeing an increase in the number of cancer cases  About 90 per cent of all the cancers that we expect to be diagnosed in 2017 will be among Canadians 50 years of age and older.”

Still, four cancers — prostate, breast, lung and colon-rectal continue to top the list of the most common malignancies, which together are expected to account for more than half the cancer diagnoses in 2017.

Survival rates for some cancers have improved dramatically over time: overall, 60 per cent of Canadians diagnosed and treated for cancer will survive five years or longer. These statistics probably hold true for United States.

GOD’S POWER

By His Stripes we are healed

To have faith is, to use the current jargon, to live outside of the box, risking, venturing, believing the impossible. Sometimes, the power of faith is manifested in spectacular and immediately obvious ways.

FAITH HEALING

There is a long tradition, stretching back to Jesus Himself and including many of the saints, of faith healing.

When someone consciously and confidently opens himself to God, acting as a kind of conduit, the divine energy can flow.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ appeared to this simple nun, Sister Faustina, bringing a wonderful message of Mercy:

“In whatever state the soul may be, it ought to pray … for every single grace comes to the soul through prayer.”                                                                                                       Diary 146   From the Diary of St. Faustina

“I see that God never tries us beyond what we are able to suffer. Oh, I fear nothing; if God sends such great suffering to a soul. He upholds it with an even greater grace, although we are not aware of it. One act of trust at such moments gives greater glory to God than whole hours passed in prayer filled with consolations.”                                                                                                                                          Diary 1182

“Ask and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.”                                                                                     Matthew 7:7

The Lord’s statement couldn’t be any clearer – if we ask we will receive. Note that there is no disclaimer that cancer or “impossible” situations are not included. While there is no guarantee that we’ll always receive a physical healing, we can rest assured that our prayers will be answered in the best possible way “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Matthew 7:9-11     We will receive EXACTLY what we need!

Some have observed that their illness was a “wake-up call”. Some have said that their lives only really began when they were diagnosed. The experience of illness can be a call for a genuinely religious life: the essence of which is a return to God It is the purpose of our lives. In the end our healing becomes a return to love.

No matter how hopeless a situation looks, ALWAYS pray about it! If you don’t ask, you may not receive! God’s power is greater than any problem we could encounter. If you’re having difficulty believing that the Lord can work miracles in your life, say “I believe; help my unbelief!”                                                                                                       Mark 9:24

Good health can be defined as inner peace. A spiritual, holistic notion of healing includes treatment not only of the body but of the mind, and spirit. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit.  A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un-forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment.

DELIVERANCE FROM HOMOSEXUAL SIN ASSURED 2

IS TRUE DELIVERANCE FROM HOMOSEXUALITY POSSIBLE?

To begin, we are only talking about homosexual sin — not homosexual feelings. Someone who has strong homosexual feelings is a product of one’s environment. Allow me to explain:

A pastor who was very close to God asked Him why he was not gay yet his brother was.  His response was that when his brother was in the womb the father was being very unreasonable toward the mother and the brother took the mother’s side –hence more feminine. You will never read this in any psychological studies.

Too often, especially in the church, the subject of homosexuality and deliverance causes deep misunderstanding and painful rifts. To someone struggling with homosexuality, different churches can present different confusing message. Some insist that a repentant homosexual renounce all ties to the homosexual lifestyle and live out his or her days in celibacy. Others believe that since no one chooses to be homosexual, the only compassionate solution is complete acceptance. Neither viewpoint takes into the fundamental reality of every person’s need for love and acceptance.

There are those who are conscientious about their faith, and who really desire to live as God wants, and who are terrified of what the Bible says about their sexual desires which don’t go where they are supposed to. Such people would be left with an even greater burden because not only are they remaining part of a persecuted minority, but now they have failed as Christians too.

Deliverance homosexuality

Francis MacNutt is a sincere and respected Christian healer takes the view that homosexuality has definite causes and can be healed. He claims Jesus Christ can transform the homosexual’s restoration: this healing will last and be fruitful and ultimately change the whole situation.

Many homosexuals’ claim that…

OVERCOMING GRIEF IS POSSIBLE 2

Overcoming Grief

Grieving can be the most difficult time for people. We try to balance the feelings of pain and loss while going forward with your everyday life. Overcoming grief is possible.

“Death is not death and the spirit doesn’t die, but rather enters new channels of life…our relationships are not severed at death, but refocused beyond physical connection.” ~ Marianne Williamson

There is no comparing grief because everyone is different.

Processing the pain, sadness, loss, longing, anger, loneliness and devastation will be as individual as we are people. Sometimes words aren’t enough because the pain is too deep.

deliverance grief

Grieving Deliverance Grief

LISTENING is one of the most important things you can receive: You are allowed the space and freedom to cry and talk about your loved ones without interruption. Our reaction is to try and ‘fix’ them but grief takes TIME, PATIENCE and LOVE.

Most people go through a grieving process. The key to victory is an understanding of the difference between a normal, balanced grieving process and a spirit of grief that will try to attach itself to the hurting person. One helps the grieving person get better with the passing of time; the other causes him to get worse and sink deeper and deeper into the pit of despair.

Grieving Delivrance

A spirit of grief can gain an inroad, not just after the death of a loved one, but also from: Continue reading OVERCOMING GRIEF IS POSSIBLE 2

CATHOLIC LAY MISSIONARY 2

CATHOLIC LAY MISSIONARY ORIENTED

Catholics have a culture of obligation and it shows in their apathy. A select core must become a Catholic Lay missionary.

Why are exciting Catholic parishes so rare?

  1. No one says hello
  2. No one sings the hymns
  3. Lack of reverence in the Eucharistic celebration
  4. People are just taking their Communion and seem to exit before Mass has ended.

The overall attitude is that they need us to meet their Sunday Mass obligation. Where else can they go? We are accustomed to a generally mediocre experience of parish life.

Catholic Lay Missionaries

Pop into your local Evangelical church. Look at how they do music, hospitality, preaching, small groups, child care, etc. Protestant churches are made up of large pastoral teams of 6-10 people. Most Catholic parishes consist of one or two priests, a secretary, and maybe a youth minister.

Catholic Lay Missionaries

This is not your typical Evangelical church: it is gathering of Christians that have been attracted to healing and deliverance often associated with Christian Missionaries.

What should we do?

  • The first thing is to remember to keep the first thing the first thing: the Holy Eucharist.
  • The core is to proclaim Jesus and invite people into relationship with Him.
  • We need to become team players.
  • We need to adopt a culture of invitation
  • An invitation to a religious event actually can turn one’s whole life around? But we get scared to invite, don’t we? We need to get over that.
  • We need to deliberately let our faith float to the surface of your life to put it out there that you are a believing, practicing, Catholic Christian.

The evil spirit of defeatism

WHAT IS DELIVERANCE MINISTRY? 2

deliverance ministry

 DOES DELIVERANCE MINISTRY WORK?

How do you know that your prayer of deliverance actually works? The person that needed to be delivered from demonic obsessions will always feel a new sense of peace:  some receive a feeling of airiness as if something has left; some feel a tingling: “By their fruit you will recognize them.”                                                         Matthew 7:16

Crime has reached an all time high and people are researching into unique crimes.   Even crime prevention experts are  bewildered. The world has lost its peace and tranquility.

Deliverance

Growing up in an environment ,where bad choices are made by parents, can and do influence children. There comes a point where the cycle of making bad choices needs to be broken.

The accusing spirit is an anti-Christ spirit, because it approaches people with no love. It works through a voice; the voice of condemnation and rejection. It constantly tells you how much of a failure you are.

Whenever we feel the hurt and pain from rejection, it’s because we our identity depends upon what other people thinks of us. That is why our identity must be based upon the Word of God, and what God has to say about us.

What is impossible with any human system can still be possible with God. It takes only a split second for Him to put your life back to order just as He made water into wine or brought the dead man alive.

When we leave the Word of God behind and seek to satisfy our own fleshly appetites, it can give unclean spirits access into our lives. Most people do not even realize what they are getting themselves into, and then they wonder why they have lost control in that area of their lives afterwards!

Unforgiveness is the single most popular poison that the enemy uses against inmates, and it is one of the deadliest poisons a person can take spiritually. It causes everything from mental depression, to health problems such as cancer and arthritis. Unforgiveness prevents God from forgiving our sins. “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”                                                                                                                                          Matthew 6:15

It is bad enough to be rebellious, but anybody who curses their father or mother shall come under a curse, and find themselves in obscure darkness: “Who so curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.”                                    Proverbs 20:20

The most common misconception is from the word deliverance: people want to think “demon possession”it is NOT possession, but it is oppression, which takes place in the soul and in the flesh. It is almost like part of our body is not in our full control. We can expect to wrestle against temptations, accusations and deception, but NOT torment, vexation, and trouble from evil spirits.

Deliverance

Some symptoms of trouble with evil spirits:
