DELIVERANCE FROM SUICIDAL THOUGHTS ASSURED

   DELIVERANCE FROM SPIRIT OF  SUICIDE

Many people who struggle with suicidal thoughts feel like they are alone. You would be surprised by how much the Bible talks about suicide. Even though these stories from the Bible are of people overwhelmed by fear, guilt, heartache, illness, pride, disillusionment and hopelessness. There is such a thing as deliverance from the spirit of suicide.

Recognize warning signs. The American Association of Suicidology says that people who are at risk of committing suicide often display warning signs such as: communicating a desire to kill themselves, looking for ways to kill themselves (like seeking access to guns or medications), expressing a lack of purpose or hope in life, demonstrating dramatic mood changes, behaving in significantly anxious or angry ways, sleeping too much or not sleeping enough, taking reckless risks, abusing alcohol or drugs, and withdrawing from relationships with family and friends.

Listen well and offer unconditional love, like God does. Pay attention to the troubling thoughts and feelings that people share with you Ask God to help you love suicidal people unconditionally – like He does – and that will give them hope they desperately need while struggling with embarrassment and shame.

Give people a fresh perspective on themselves and their problems. Suicidal people often become so preoccupied with their own failures and the problems in their lives that they blow them out of proportion. They mistakenly thinking that there’s no hope for them; you must point out other aspects of her life that are positive to help her gain a better perspective. Encourage suicidal people to give themselves time to see how their problems can resolve in unexpected ways.

Point to Prayer. People who kill themselves are trying to break free from their pain. It actually causes more pain by spreading grief around to deceased people’s loved ones. Prayer is needed to lay their troubles for Jesus to handle, trusting that He will help them with any situation – no matter how difficult.

Deliverance Suicide Prayer

God will never waste the pain we struggle through in this life, but He will turn it around for good somehow and use it to strengthen us and to help others.

If you or a loved one is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please get help. Do not face this on your own. There is hope and healing, and there are many who will journey through this trial with you. Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) at any time day or night 24/7, to talk to someone who understands. Or go online at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org for more information and help.

The Catholic Catechism says that everyone is responsible for his life before God who has given it to him. We are stewards, not owners, of the life God has entrusted to us. It is not ours to dispose of.

WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?

Becoming Christian

Deliverance is defined as “a rescue from bondage or danger.” Deliverance is often sought from evil spirits or the spirit of lust, jealousy, etc. We are told to “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.”                                                                                                                                                  1 Peter 5:8,9

All aspects of deliverance are available only through the person and work of Jesus Christ:” When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, ‘Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!’”                                                                              Luke 10:17

 DO YOU NEED DELIVERANCE?

To determine if you are in need of deliverance, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Are you continually argumentative or contrary–usually on the verge of anger?
  2.  Are you violating, neglecting or causing pain in a relationship?
  3.  Are you practicing sin and can’t seem to stop?
  4. Do you see a pattern of issues in your family, whether disease, poverty, anger, divorce, sexual perversion or other issues?
  5. You are sick all the time and the doctors find nothing wrong. You could be dealing with a spirit of infirmity?
  6. Are you having “spiritual” encounters, including recurring dreams/nightmares that you leave you fearful?
  7. Do you sometimes sense that the problem isn’t you, but rather something in you?
  8. Are you attracted to the occult. , e.g. Ouija Boards, Seance, Fortune Telling, Horoscopes, Hypnosis etc, or Witchcraft?
  9. Have you experienced traumatic events that have impacted your life negatively?
  10.  Do you keep hitting the same wall?

 DOES DELIVERANCE MINISTRY WORK?

How do you know that your prayer of deliverance actually works? The person that needed to be delivered from demonic obsessions will always feel a new sense of peace:  some receive a feeling of airiness as if something has left; some feel a tingling: “By their fruit you will recognize them.”                                                         Matthew 7:16

Crime has reached an all time high and people are researching into unique crimes.   Even crime prevention experts are  bewildered. The world has lost its peace and tranquility.

Deliverance

Growing up in an environment ,where bad choices are made by parents, can and do influence children. There comes a point where the cycle of making bad choices needs to be broken.

The accusing spirit is an anti-Christ spirit, because it approaches people with no love. It works through a voice; the voice of condemnation and rejection. It constantly tells you how much of a failure you are.

Whenever we feel the hurt and pain from rejection, it’s because we our identity depends upon what other people thinks of us. That is why our identity must be based upon the Word of God, and what God has to say about us.

What is impossible with any human system can still be possible with God. It takes only a split second for Him to put your life back to order just as He made water into wine or brought the dead man alive.

When we leave the Word of God behind and seek to satisfy our own fleshly appetites, it can give unclean spirits access into our lives. Most people do not even realize what they are getting themselves into, and then they wonder why they have lost control in that area of their lives afterwards!

Unforgiveness is the single most popular poison that the enemy uses against inmates, and it is one of the deadliest poisons a person can take spiritually. It causes everything from mental depression, to health problems such as cancer and arthritis. Unforgiveness prevents God from forgiving our sins. “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”                                                                                                                                          Matthew 6:15

It is bad enough to be rebellious, but anybody who curses their father or mother shall come under a curse, and find themselves in obscure darkness: “Who so curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.”                                    Proverbs 20:20

The most common misconception is from the word deliverance: people want to think “demon possession”it is NOT possession, but it is oppression, which takes place in the soul and in the flesh. It is almost like part of our body is not in our full control. We can expect to wrestle against temptations, accusations and deception, but NOT torment, vexation, and trouble from evil spirits.

DEPRESSING FEELINGS

Explain Depressing Feelings

DEPRESSING FEELINGS
DEPRESSING FEELINGS

How do you explain depressing feelings? Have you ever felt that the world is full of deception – nothing and no one should be trusted. Such notions, arises from disillusionment, distrust of one’s fellow beings, unhappiness and eventually, despair. Life has suddenly and devastatingly become devoid of meaning; we arrive at a time of life-threatening crisis. Meaning and purpose for life cannot be found. Where and to whom can one turn? Who can one trust to find the right answers?
We seem to be ‘looking through a glass darkly’ — looking at what was going on around us as if we were a detached observer – being there and involved but also feeling that somehow we weren’t really present.
We cry more than any normal person should; we don’t care to eat, cook, or clean, we don’t care to see our friends. We can’t focus at work, or carry out our daily responsibilities at home. When we step back and think about it, we wonder, is there a point to being alive?
It’s a frightening thought when we realize we’ve just admitted to ourselves there could be no reason to be here. There is a difference between being sad, and being sad for no reason. A sadness deep in your bones that does not want to go away after time and effort. It’s not something anyone wants to readily admit.

depression sad
We practice making lists on why our life is something to be envious of, but that doesn’t help. It makes one hate oneself more for being sad when one has it so good. Then you say to yourself that you are a failure…and it spirals from there. It’s awful. It’s exhausting. It’s black.

People brush you off by telling me you that you need, “exercise and a combination of certain vitamins,” or, “think of the starving children in Africa without clean water to drink.”

So you realize that you need help. You  struggle with showing any signs of weakness, but asking for help is not something you can easily do. You are not sure there is anything any one person could do or say; you suppose this is a dark valley ; you have to go at it alone. You can only hope you make it out the other side.

You are afraid that you will spend your  life chasing happiness. But at times, you wonder if you are just running.

 DELIVERANCE AND EXORCISM

Exorcism is exercised in case of possession, while deliverance deals with the influences that are not full possession. There are very few cases of possession as compared to ever pervading influence of different kinds of evil spirits affecting many people.

THE DELIVERANCE

“The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.”                                                           Deuteronomy 18:9-15 Continue reading DELIVERANCE from DEPRESSING FEELINGS ASSURED

DELIVERANCE DEPRESSION

DELIVERANCE FROM DEPRESSION

Deliverance from Depression: is it really a mental illness or is it a kind of evil spirit? The Christian is suppose to experience peace and joy, but the depressed person cannot. The depressed  persons have problems believing that God loves them; they withdraw from community support and they are in a continued state of anxiety. They are completely overcome by evil. This is not of God’s will. One of the symptoms of depression is one’s experience that no one has been able to help; that even God does not care. Deliverance may be needed.

There are times that depression is a demon.  And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold now, an evil spirit from God is afflicting you.”               1Samuel 16:14-23

  10.  Do you keep hitting the same wall?

The enemy’s number one area of attack is the mind. The demons will put negative or even perverse thoughts on your mind to make you believe that they are your thoughts. When people fall to complaining and fussing and feeling sorry for themselves, they lay themselves open to any danger of an invitation to evil spirits.

Fortunately, the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education thought so too. In 1994—at long last—its Special Requirements for Psychiatry Residency Training mandated that: (1) young psychiatrists receive religious instruction, and (2) a patient’s spiritual beliefs always be noted and taken seriously.

Likewise, for the first time ever, the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV)—psychiatry’s massive, professional bible—now includes a category that acknowledges the importance of religion in our lives.  It is my hope that  there be a new relationship encouraged between psychiatry and the fields of religion and spirituality.”

Most psychiatrists now believe that in severe depression, medication is needed to restore enough bodily and cognitive functioning for a sufferer to then attack the unhealthy thinking that has grown out of the illness. Most of the more than 20 types of psychotherapy show some success with depression, but those with the best track record are designed to be fairly short, lasting less than a year, and focus on correcting distorted thought patterns.” (from the article on depression: U.S. News) Many doctors treat their patients by natural methods, which leave the devils unperturbed.

When you are depressed, your access to God’s presence is blocked Psalm 100:1-5. It is a very destructive weapon of the enemy.

You need only concern yourself with getting your own house in order: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness – and all the rest of these things will be granted to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”                                                                                                                                                Philippians 4:13
